# Docker

# Docker

`docker-compose.yml` lives at the repo root. Run these from there:

```bash theme={null}
make docker-up     # db, temporal, app, worker
make docker-down
make docker-logs
make stack-up      # adds prometheus, grafana, cadvisor
make stack-down
make stack-logs
```

## Services

| Service | Ports | Purpose |
| - | - | - |
| `db` | `5432` | Postgres (`pgvector/pgvector:pg16`) for local development (Supabase auth/storage schemas are not included) |
| `temporal` | `7233`, `8233` | Temporal dev server; UI at [http://localhost:8233](http://localhost:8233) |
| `app` | `8000` | FastAPI on port 8000 |
| `worker` | — | Boilerplate Temporal worker (`python -m app.temporal.worker`) |
| `prometheus`, `grafana`, `cadvisor` | `9090`, `3000`, `8080` | Monitoring stack (`stack-up` only) |

Both `app` and `worker` mount `apps/api/app` for hot reload and read
`apps/api/.env.<APP_ENV>`.

To use a Supabase database instead of the Compose `db`, set `POSTGRES_*` (or
`DOCKER_POSTGRES_HOST`) in the env file to the Supabase session pooler.
